The Graduate Teacher Program (GTP) is a faculty development program that provides academic and nonacademic career preparation and offers certification in both college teaching for future faculty and professional development. The program offers workshops in pedagogical strategies, public speaking, research conduct, and professional career opportunities. As the GTP lead coordinator for the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences I supervised 24 lead graduate teachers in their development of discipline-specific teacher training activities, academic leadership, effective pedagogy, assessment in the classroom, collegiality, and interdisciplinary team work, as well as the consultation on micro-teaching and digital video consultation.
